Terms And Conditions
ALLUK COVERED LTD

 

Please read this document carefully as it will tell you everything you need to know about the terms and conditions on which we will deal with each other.

 

 

If you do not own the equipment, you will need to obtain the owner's permission before you can authorise us to start work.

 

We will carry out all work during our normal working hours (8am to 6pm Monday to Friday), unless we say otherwise.

 

We will agree with you what work we will carry out. We will then carry it out as soon as possible, depending on when an engineer is available.

 

One of our engineers will usually carry out the work. In some cases, we may authorise a suitably qualified contractor to carry out the work.

 

If the materials are defective then we will repair or replace the defective materials free of charge. If our work is defective, then we will re-perform our work free of charge. You can contact your local authorities, trading standards or Citizens Advice Bureau if you need more information about your statutory rights.

 

The charge for the work includes the labour and parts for fixing the first and any other fault we identify on the specified item of equipment.

 

The price we quote does not include the following: Repairs identified or needed due to design faults in your current system at the time of the agreed work being carried out.

THE MAXIUM LENGTH FOR ALL SERVICE AGREEMENTS IS 12 MOTHS

 

Any improvements which are needed to your satellite system or electrical installation or any work needed to bring your system or installation up to current specifications;

 

Excluded:

Costs arising from not following manufacturer instructions and damaged caused by this

All costs arising from not being able to use your machine

Cosmetic or malicious damage Delivery and Installation charges

Existing faults at time of starting

Disposing of original good/ machine

Included:

Service from 30 days after the start 

Protection against breakdowns – Including parts, labour and call out charges

Free replacement like for like for goods beyond economical repair

All products under 10 years of age

If you wish to upgrade or modify your equipment (to current specifications) this can be arranged at an additional cost. We will agree with you how much this will cost beforehand. Maximum money paid out per item is £500 no more.

 

If the safety earth wire arrangements in your property do not meet the standards set out in the current Institute of Electrical Engineers regulations, we will tell you what work is needed to correct any problem. The engineer on site will decide whether work can go ahead.

 

Repairing or replacing a remote control is not included. There will be a charge for a replacement, the cost of which we will agree with you beforehand.

We will not carry out the repair if: Parts are unavailable;

 

Notice of your right to cancel. You are entitled to cancel this agreement. If you wish to cancel, you MUST DO SO IN WRITING within 28 days and a full refund will be provided. You may deliver it personally or send it (which may be by email) to the email address provided. Your notice to cancel will be taken to have been received as soon as you post or send it to us or in the case of e-mail from the date it is sent to us. Please note that you will be required to pay for any goods or services that we provide to you if you ask us to start work before the end of your cancellation period.

It is possible terminate/cancel this service at any time by writing to us at the contact address shown below.

Returns Policy

If you decide that you no longer wish to have your equipment serviced by ALLUK COVERED LTD then you can cancel the agreement by calling us on 0161 821 8884, alternativally, you can email us at info@allukcovered.co.uk or send a letter to the address below.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this agreement by giving us notice in writing within 28 days from receipt of our details including these terms and conditions or, if later, from our receipt of your payment (the cooling off period).

 

If you cancel it within this period we will provide you with a full refund. Your right to cancel will be lost if you have received a service from us during this cooling off period with your agreement. Except for the cooling off period and the circumstances described under changes to your agreement below, you may not otherwise cancel your agreementbefore the expiry of the applicable term. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000: You may cancel your agreement by giving notice in writing at any time up to and including the 8th working day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) after you receive the service documents.

If you have used a service, we reserve the right to make a reasonable charge for the direct costs we have incurred in providing the services that you have received. Refunds, when agreed will normally be credited to your bank account within 5-10 working days.

All Costs Covered

The price quoted is the price you'll pay. Once our engineer has visited your property to assess problem, your price is fixed, with no hidden extras.

Agreed Repair Time Slots

We all have busy lives, and none of us like waiting around. That's why ALLUK COVERED LTD will arrange a repair time slot at your convenience, so you know when to expect us. If you need to rearrange your repair, simply call our team.

Refund Policy

You may cancel this service by giving us notice in writing within 28 days from receipt of our details including these terms and conditions or, if later, from our receipt of your payment (the cooling off period).

If you cancel it within this period we will provide you with a full refund. Your right to cancel will be lost if you have received a service from us during this cooling off period with your agreement.
